NevadaCurrently, the Nevada Department of Transportation does not list specifications of recycled asphalt shingles in their mixes, and currently, they are not pursuing projects related to its use. Nevada currently does not have permitting requirements but does require recyclers to submit a plan of operation for approval. Nevada may be considering more initiatives pertaining to shingle recycling as they continue to move towards a sustainable materials management (SMM) mindset.
